Yahoo! Escalation in the battle with Facebook

Yahoo! has escalated legal battle with Facebook after adding a lawsuit, alleging Facebook violated two new technology licenses that Yahoo! is holding. Submitted to the District Court on Monday.
"As we have previously stated, Yahoo! is our business platform, attracting more than 700 million monthly visitors and representing the spirit of innovation that Yahoo! built. We will strongly protect these technologies for our customers and shareholders. " made a statement in the notice of his new suit.
"We are still 'embarrassed' because of the erratic behavior of Yahoo!," a spokeswoman for Facebook said in a statement. "We do not agree with the latest allegations and we will continue to defend ourselves strongly."

"Legal battle" between
Yahoo! and Yahoo! started in mid-March, after Yahoo! The world's largest social networking claim infringes 10 copyrighted technologies. The lawsuit took place shortly after Yahoo! Officially, there is a new CEO, Scott Thompson, former director of Paypal online payment services.
By contrast, instead of trying to end the lawsuit, Facebook seems to be seeking a way to retaliate. by spending large sums on acquiring patents from IBM and Microsoft.
