Set Up, Use and Manage Yahoo Password Account to Login Without Password

Set up Account Lock from a web browser
 You have to install a Yahoo app on your mobile device and sign in to it.
Go to the Yahoo Account security page.
Click or tap See how it works.
Choose your device and app to be notified.
Click or tap Send me notifications.
- The notification will go to the application you selected.
On your mobile device, click the Approve Image icon of the Account Accept button. .
Go back to your web browser, click or tap Always use Yahoo Account.
Confirm your mobile number, which is used if you lose access to your device.
Sign in with Account Lock
For Account Lockout to work, you must sign in to a Yahoo app on your mobile device.
Go to the Yahoo! Login page.

Enter Yahoo ID, then click Next.

On your device, touch the notification or open the app and touch the Lock Account icon Image of Account Lock icon. .
Touch the Approve Image icon of the Account Accept button. .
You may be prompted or enter or type in a verification code to confirm.
Device Manager or disable Account Lock
If you are using multiple Yahoo devices and applications, you can choose where the notifications are sent. You can also turn off Account Lock and return your password, if you wish.
Manage Account Lockout from a web browser
Go to the Yahoo Account security page.
Under "Yahoo Account Lockout," click Manage.
Click the switch to the right of any device you want to enable or disable.
Optionally, click Disable Account Key at the bottom of the screen to switch back to the password.

From the On your account application, touch the Picture Menu icon of the side menu icon. .
Touch the Account Lock icon Picture of the Account Key icon. .
Touch Manage account lockout.
Touch the switch to the right of any device you want to enable or disable.
